I Begin With Fashion

My pal Jen suggested we barter fashion art for crazy alteration projects, to wit I pay her for the alterations she does for me with illustrations. So, I busted out my copy of Nancy Riegelman’s Colors for Modern Fashion and started with reimagining in color my best fashion effort from the past: the Titania Cape. This is my first time trying to render skin tones and I find it daunting! Skin, however, turns out not to be my fatal flaw. The habit that’s gonna be the hardest to break out of is my old style of drawing heads! The heads on this page are still very much too big and stylized.
